Well that depends Carl... In my case my electronic logs go back to '88. 
I occasionally get LoTW QSLs older than that. It does come in handy to 
add the QSO after verification in the paper log archive. OTOH... it does 
make it a bit too easy for possible DXtrolls that attempt to confirm DX 
by sending out spurious QSLs on EQSL... though I often wonder why anyone 
would cheat at DXCC confirmations! I don't really see how you could have 
unmatched LOTW QSLs. I've had it happen... but it was due to a problem 
with an unrecognized mode.
