The "worked before" problem was present in the CD release of LOGIC 8 and
maybe in the first few updates. BY any chance are you using one of these or
the latest update?

Subject: [LOGic] LOGic7 => LOGic8 migration glitches

I think I have LOGic8 mostly working, but there are a couple glitches...

1) The "Worked Before" indicator checkbox (to the right of the Call on the
main Log form) doesn't work, even though the prior QSOs do show up in the
"Other QSOs with..." form, and selected data from previous QSOs is correctly
populated into the main log form when that call is entered again. The
indicator box is the only part of this scenario that isn't working. Anybody
know why?

2) The "busted call" lookup capability, when used from the Call field of the
main log form, also triggers automatic callbook lookup using the wild-card
call. Example: I type in "W5W?O" and hit Tab. I get a list of possible
calls, but I also get auto-lookup of "W5W?O" in all the enabled callbooks
one after the other as each one fails. I want to be able to use both these
features without them interfering with each other! Does anyone know if there
is a way to handle this in the existing version of LOGic8? If not... Simple
solution: Auto callbook lookup should be inhibited from executing when Tab
is pressed if there are wild card characters in the Call field.

3) Some reports that work fine in LOGic7 don't work (produce errors) in
LOGic8. Is there anything I should know to do to prevent LOGic7 reports from
failing in LOGic8? Otherwise, I guess I'll have to troubleshoot these on a
one-off basis.
