Bob,

You should be able to go to the Prefix Table (under Tools, then Setup).
Find the entries in the list, put in the correct lat/lon.

GL,

Bob

Subject: [LOGic] CY0 & CY9 Data Interchanged

Hi:
I appears the Lat/Lon date for CY9 & CY0 are some how interchanged.

I discovered this while working the CY9SS DXpedition on St. Paul's Is.

When I entered CY9SS in the DX Calculator it returned a grid square of
GN03at. Every VHF operator worth his salt knows that is Sable Island,
East of Nova Scotia.

Now when I enter CY0AA for their upcoming DXpedition to Sable Is. in
July, I get FN97we which is ST Paul's Is., NS, which is N or NE of NS.

Any idea how to fix this ??? I don't know where to look or what to do.

One other thing. Sable Is. is bisected by the 60 deg Lon. line. This
means that when you work Sable Is., it might be in Field FN or GN
depending where they set up their station.

Now that CQ has started a HF Award using Fields as part to the criteria,
it becomes more important to keep track of Grid Squares on HF.

Thanks for any insite on this problem.
