[Logic] Can't change a User Field length on Log Screen

Before upgrading my computer (and going from Windows 98 to XP) my "QSLMSG" 
field (User field 6) was 51 characters long.  In the database the field 
length is 256 characters.  But on my Log screen I cannot get it longer than 
17 characters.  I can change it to 51 in the Control Properties dialog box 
but the entry field on the Log screen gets no larger than 17.  Anyone got 
an idea?
