[LOGic] DXTelnet and LOGic

Vin et al,

Sorry if it looks like I am talking to myself, but I failed to give
any configuration information in the last post, so here goes:

In Logic7, go to the SpotLog -> Options tab, and check "Enable
DXTelnet Interface"

In DXTelnet Configuration -> Links -> DDE Links to a Windows
Application, set the following:

EXE Name:= ddedupe

Link Topic:= ddetopic

Link Item:= ddeitem

I haven't been able to eliminate the 16 to 32 bit Dynamic Data
Exchange Protocol (DDE) splicer DDEDupe.exe, so that must be running
and configured properly. I start all three programs at login (plus
most of my other DX aids), but you can handle this however you like,
I think. On my machine, they are not in any particular order in the
startup folder, and they end up in the task bar in an order based on
how much effort it is to register and start with the OS (W2K in my
case), and that is DDEDupe, DXTelnet and Logic7.

Configure DDEDupe as follows:

Parameter        DDE RX               DDE TX

ExeName         DDEDUPE           LOGIC
LinkTopic          DDETOPIC          DXTELNET
LinkItem            DDEITEM             DXTELNET

The 16-bit side of those parameters don't strike me as particularly
unique, but I don't have much on the Ham machine which would collide
with them at the DDE level, and I haven't tested any different configuration.

Hope this helps, as always, e-mail with questions.

73 es HNY,

Hank
