[Logic] Media Queue Full

After Logic (current version) has run for a day or so, I often stop hearing
spots announcement by the synthesizer. When I look at the spot log I see a
panel overlay which says "media queue full" or "media queue full:waiting."
I think the actual sequence is that I stop hearing the spots because
something has gone awry, and after a time all the spots not being spoken
cause the generation of the message. If I do notice I have stopped hearing
spots I can try a "test" announcement that results in no sound. If I hit
the "test" button again, I get the message that data is already in the
buffer, if nothing is heard to hit "dump." But dumping and retesting never
causes the synthesizer to start speaking again. That's why I think the
"media full message" is eventually caused by data accumulation in the
synthesizer buffer.
Has anyone else seen the "media queue full" message or experienced the
synthesizer going silent?
