Yes! I work 6M SSB/CW, and am an avid grid-chaser.

That is certainly true. :-)

It may not mention VUCC, but there are lots of mentions of grid squares! Do a
Search in the Help system for "grid square", in quote marks.
Here are the things I've done specifically in conjunction with grid-chasing:
1) I built an index for the Grid field, so I can sort the browse log on Grid.
This is helpful when looking at the general preponderance of propagation into a
particular part of the country, once your log has some history built up in it.
It's also useful for checking on QSL progress for all the logged QSOs with a
particular grid square.
2) I made sure to check the "Track awards for this field" checkbox in the Log
Fields setup dialog for Grid. This tells LOGic that you want to keep track of
Grids progress.
3) If I was chasing grids on more than one band (I'm on 6M only right now), I'd
set up a sub-award statement for each of the bands I was using. Right now, for
example, I have just one sub-award set up (BAND='6M'). Set up a similar filter
for the other bands on which you're chasing grids. Then you can check your
progress using the Progress List function without having to generate a formal
report.
4) I keep the "Progress Display 1" dialog on my LOGic desktop at all times. This
display tells me immediately the status of any grid square that comes up --
never worked, worked but unconfirmed, or confirmed -- and it breaks this
information out by band and mode.
As far as customizing reports is concerned, there are lots of guys on this list
who can be of more help than I, though I've done some of it.

That is the truth. I think we've all gone through that in the beginning. It is
an immensely powerful and capable piece of software, and the learning curve
isn't trivial. Take your time with it, be willing to experiment and fail before
you succeed, and it will richly reward you.
Having said that, I should also point out that I am a rank newbie when it comes
to LOGic. I've only been using the program for about ten months.
