OK... did a little research... RAC is using the postal codes for Provinces
and Territories...
AB Alberta
BC British Columbia
MB Manitoba
NB New Brunswick
NL Newfoundland & Labrador
NS Nova Scotia
NT Northwest territories
NU Nunavut
ON Ontario
PE Prince Edward Island
QC Qubec
SK Saskatchewan
YT Yukon
Canadian "sections", according to the ARRL 10M contest entry form
AB Alberta
BC British Columbia
MB Manitoba
MAR - includes NB, NS, PE
NL Newfoundland & Labrador
NT - includes NT, YT, NU
ON Ontario
PE Prince Edward Island
QC Qubec
SK Saskatchewan
There is a bit of confusion at the ARRL... the 160M contest entry form has
the Canadian sections mixed up...
Also, in the 10M rules, it has named the Section NT and indicates it
includes NWT... since NWT is NOT a valid abbreviation for a province, I sent
them an e-mail suggesting they call the section NWT and use NT for the
province...
What I'm going to do is use the first list for Canadian Provinces... and
add the second list to ARRL sections... since that is how they are used.
