[Logic] LOGic 7: Why do SMIRK members show "Deleted"?

Hi Dennis,
Thanks for the reply! I did redownload the SMIRK membership base just now, and
LOGic says the download completed successfully, but all records in my
installation still say DELETED. When I look at the SMIRK# memberships list in
Tools >> Setup >> Membership Lists, the rightmost column, "DELETED", shows the
member's callsign in 100% of the records. In other words, columns "CALL" and
"DELETED" are identical. There was no change in this after doing the
download/update. Any ideas?
I posted here recently that I had changed both the 1010# and SMIRK# log fields
from Integer to Character in order to get rid of the "default 0" that showed up
in the log for all non-members, and wondered if this would cause any problems.
It was opined by a couple people that it should not. Could this change be the
cause of the failure to update properly? If so, and I have to change these
fields back to Integer, is there any other way to get rid of the default 0
display in the log other than changing the field to Character?
