Hi Group,

Well its been awhile since I posted the first question on the Icom polling
problem, took all the responses and here is the result:

1) Attempted to change baud rate on one of two radios (both on radio and in
LOGic), didn't work.

2) Bought another CT-17, so had one CT-17 interface to the 746Pro, the other
to the 756Pro II, what a mess. After hours of futzing around determined
that with two CT-17 interfaces one com port 4 and one com port 5 they act as
if there is only one. Confused the bejesus out of me since it would just
keep thinking that both rigs were on com port 4, regardless of what com port
I had the other interface on (yup, double-checked the setup, etc, etc).
Proved that when one was disabled in logic, the other would work (did this
with both, so both work). Even thought I had the ports and cables and
interfaces confused and so started from scratch one at a time only to come
to the same result.

So, unless I am really a dufus (which I could be, and if I am please enjoy
at my expense), this just isn't going to work. I think I remember that
someone was using a CT-17 and a W1GEE interface cable, if so, please let me
know.

Maybe I'm getting too wrapped-up in this polling thing, after all, even if
it doesn't poll the rig for real time displaying of frequency it will still
log the contact with correct frequency and mode.

Thanks to all.....
