[Logic] Re: ARRL LOTW

Howdy all,

A couple of other things to watch out for when you convert your Logic 
log to .ADI and then into LoTW. If you have mobile stations in your log 
such as AC0M-M it will reject them. AC0M/M works fine but may cause some 
fits in Logic regarding proper placement of the contact according to the 
/M designator. Also, watch for CWN and PTOR in the mode column. LoTW 
wants CW and TOR according to their mode list.

I did not experience any difficulty with the select criteria in the 
Logic header but the USB and LSB thing gave me fits. Wish I could 
remember how to mass update the log and I would change all of the USB 
and LSB in my entire log to SSB. Back to the help pages I guess, hi.

My question is how are we going to handle confirmations for DXCC etc., 
in Logic once LoTW goes live. We are all comfortable with the F, R, 
etc., in the QSLS and QSLR boxes on the log page and with checking in 
QSL cards. We will have to keep this information current to maintain our 
proper totals in Logic but we really won't have a QSL card. Perhaps an 
additional box on the log page to indicate TQSL confirmation would work 
but it will have to add into the band, county, mode, etc. totals in Logic.
