[Logic] QSO/Record number or serial number

Hi Fellows,
The number generator in LOGic is not accurate, So don't believe all what you
see.
Example if you start to enter a contact and change your mind or erase one
until you do a pack,
your count is off buy the amount you delete. I ask Dennis about this way
back in LOGic 4, and that was his answer.

You could turn on the QSO counter in setup/DEFAULT and open up a 'userfield'
for the number but you have to edit every qso from your first one to bring
the number up to date. Not bad if you just started using LOGic and only have
a few contacts logged in but with 10,101 contacts have fun!!! The counter
generator starts counting from the
last contact entered not from the beginning of your log.

If you know dbase you could use the command rec_no to try and do it, look at
"Help" under Dbase commands there a brief explanation. This same command is
used in several of the reports so you could look at how it works
