I recently got a Matrox G450 and am happily using dual monitors. There is
one problem and that is that every time I start programs they always come up
on the primary monitor. That happens with the DXLABS suite for certain and
Logic 6 does a little better but not correctly. With Logic 6 the windows
that were on the second monitor come up partly on the primary and partly on
the second.


Has anyone gotten it to work such that things come up EXACTLY as they were
when shut down? That is if they are saved correctly when you had one monitor
they are still saved correctly with two. The second monitor is supposed to
be nothing more than an extension of the desk top so this should work.

I have tried the settings in Properties/Settings/Advanced/Options

Checking
Automatically Save/Restore Desktop Icons
Automatically save restore Window positions

but that does not happen.

Anyone that has this working, I would appreciate the secret.

Otherwise dual monitor is great!
