In regular operation with my OMNI-VI+, I use VFO A. When I hear DX
operating split, I set VFO B to the QSX frequency. and listen on VFO A. (to
log the split, I manually hit the "SPLIT" button on the screen radio panel,
or not since it really doesn't matter)
When I use SET from a QSX spot in the SPOT log, VFO B is on the DX
frequency and VFO A is on the QSX frequency. (and the XMT frequency is
logged)
Other than being "different" there is nothing wrong with this.
