I have asked these questions of support as well, but as it is the =
weekend and I can't wait, I thought I would post here as well.
I've just bought Logic6 and I have had a few problems.
I first tried to install on a Windows 2000 laptop.
Problem 1 was that my personal details (prompted for at first startup) =
were not remembered. Next time I did a Tools/Setup/Station Information =
the original info on location was there. Also the Info log form has the =
incorrect info. No matter how I update this info it is not stored.
problem 2 is that the program aborts when I hit the search button next =
to the US County field. I get and error: "Error 1734 "Property =
SEARCH_TOOLTIPTEXT is not found." has occurred in program =
SEARCHCOMBO.INIT, line 34". If I elec to continue, the problem =
re-occurs. If I elect to not continue, the program abends after a few =
more error windows.
problem 4. The program generally seems pretty flaky if you do anything =
out of the ordinary: e.g. I opened the list fields form and tried to =
search for "IOTA". The program crashed.
Problem5 I previously ran the demos for Logic5 and Logic6 on a Win98SE =
laptop, so I tried to install on there. The program installed but would =
not accept the keycode that worked successfully on the Win2k machine.
What gives? I can see from previous posts on here and eham that people =
are generally happy with Logic, or was that just Logic5??? Did I make a =
mistake purhcasing Logic6??
