ver 6.119 includes the ability to log bands from 10Ghz and up. Before
the frequency data block could not hold 10,386Ghz. Now it will!!

You did not say if you continued with the update install. If you do not do a
clean install where it formats the drive then you should be ok. It seems
that there may or may not have been a bad file.
My version of that file is
Created Aug 23 7AM
674304 bytes
And the name is ntdll.dll not ntd77.d77. There is no such file.
Now if this continues you could do this.
Go to a command prompt and run
verfier.exe
You could let it verify what it does by default or add things to it if you
feel comfortable doing that. It WILL slow down the system, perhaps A LOT but
may find the error. After that or even if it does not find the error you
should run it again and disable verifier to get your speed back. What it is
doing is a LOT of execution time checks which adds a LOT of overhead.
and then on boot it MAY give you the name of the file really causing the
problem. Often it is not the one that is in the stop but is a different one
that actually caused the problem by stepping on other code.
If this does not work, I don't know what to say other than to complete the
install (not a clean if you don't want to lose your apps settings) and see
if that fixed it.
MAKE A BACKUP FIRST, A FULL backup is best.
