[LeArc] Augusta Exercise

The Carthage club is hosting a training exercise this weekend March 8, Check in is at 0800 HRS at the Augusta Fairgrounds on the south side of Augusta.  Area amateurs have been invited to participate.

Any amateur radio operators that wish to participate should check in at the sign in desk, and then locate the Emergency Services Communication Chief, John Hobart KC9PL; all amateurs will take their direction from him.  The purpose will be to facilitate emergency communications training as part of a railroad disaster drill.

John should be monitoring 147.105 Repeater 103.5 tone.  If this repeater is unable to use try him on National Simplex 146.520 MHz.  The exercise is a mock train wreck with simulated Haz Mat spill (Anhydrous Ammonia).  It is important to only participate to the extent you are directed by John Hobart as for any unauthorized spectators will be asked to leave.
