Just a few neat things if you are looking for local frequency information or wx toys:

I've also found a new GPS unit that, with XM an satellite weather
subscription, will allow spotters to view radar shots.  I've been using one since this summer and they are great.  I would shop

Inspeed has a portable anemometer for a low price that can be purchased as
a mag mount unit.  I've been using one for two years and they are
absolutely awesome.  If you ever attend the Dayton Hamfest in May, you can
