...Heat advisory extended until 6 PM CDT Monday...

Hot and humid conditions will linger through Monday. Temperatures
tonight will drop only into the mid 70s...but high humidity will
keep heat index values above 80 through the night. On Monday...
temperatures will rise to afternoon highs in the upper 90s with
heat index values reaching as high as 105 to 110. Because this
hot and humid weather is now expected to linger through Monday...
the heat advisory that was in effect has been extended through
Monday afternoon.

A heat advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible. Drink plenty of fluids...stay in an air conditioned
room...avoid the sun...and check on relatives and neighbors.
