I am N9XEG, I don't know if you are familiar with the Society Broadcast Engineers (SBE). Anyway I am the SBE chapter 49 chairman. On July 28th at 6:30pm in Quincy, IL at John Wood Community College our chapter is playing host to a great program called the "Taste of the NAB roadshow" The presentation is more geared to the professional broadcasting industry, but the information may be of interest to enthusiasts in the amateur radio world. I am writing to ask you to forward this information to your club members in case they may want to attend. The actual presentation is infrormative and in no way a "sales pitch" the event is presented by fellow Ham Larry Bloomfield KA6UTC. Larry has many years of experience in television and in radio, He is well versed with the years past and shows great insight into what the future broadcaster may expect in regards of equipment. I hope you will join us, there is no admission and no obligation, If you would like to become a member of the SBE or want more information contact me ASAP.
I would appreciate if anyone plans on coming they let me know.
