Now begins the prepaarations for the QSO party. I thought I would try
something different, and wait until 1/2 hour before the contest starts to
begin my set-up.

If any of you remember, I have no facilities for permenant antennas, so I
have to just throw them out the window when I want to operate. Plus, I live
on the second floor, so I have a grounding problem. No access to any cold
water pipes or anything, so I am going to just run a length of wire off of
the radio as a counterpoise. I just have to remember now if it is supposed
to be 1/4 or 1/2 wavelength.

I have a new antenna to try for this contest. I have a 20 meter double
bazooka dipole I am going to try (still have the homebrew 20 in case it
doesn't work). I plan on just operating 20, but if for some reason 20 dies,
I have the materials to throw together a 40M dipole... will just have to
figure out how to throw it up. May try to see if an inverted-v sloper will
work. Just have to wait and see.

As usual, I will post my total scores here when I am done. I plan on
operating the whole 10 hours available to a single op this time, instead of
just a few, as I did in November Sweeps.
