Although propogation was poor, the field day trials gave us a good
heads-up
and listing of things to rectify by the time the real field day comes
around.
We'll be working on lists during the ensueing week and will be in touch
with
most of you.
   Special thanks to the commissary crew which provided sustenance to
hold
body and soul together, but drinks to keep people from dehydrating on a
sweaty and moist day. There were times when a jump in the mossy lake
with the noisy bullfrogs was *almost* tempting.
   Antennas will be one of the major things to work on, along with
radios
for different bands. There may be a "Get On The Air" station, which is
good
for extra points. And, there will be good food.
   Thanks to Wayne, Stephanie, Joe Missy, Ted, George, Jay, Monica and
Tony
(and anyone else I've forgotten).
   Also, congratulations to Monica and Dave Nissen for making Extra, and
to
Monica and Jay for snagging a North Korea contact.
