Today's planned Falcon 9 rocket launch from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. has been delayed to no earlier than Friday, September 19. The vehicle is slated to lift off from south base during an 8:41 a.m. to 12:41 p.m. PDT launch window and carry several Starlink satellites into orbit. Eight minutes after launch, the first stage will attempt to land on a drone ship positioned down range.

Weather permitting, the launch could be visible to the unaided eye from as far away as 100 statute miles.
