This morning's (January 18) launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. appears to be on schedule. The vehicle is slated to lift off from south base 9:03 a.m. Pacific Time and carry 27 Starlink satellites into orbit. Eight minutes after launch, the first stage will attempt to land on the drone ship "Of Course I Still Love You" located downrange.

Weather permitting, the early portion of the launch could be visible to the unaided eye as far away as 100 statute miles (161 kilometers).
