A Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled for launch Saturday morning (January 18) from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. The vehicle is slated to lift off from south base at 7:57 a.m. Pacific Time and carry several Starlink satellites into orbit.

Weather permitting, the launch could be visible to the unaided eye from as far away as 100 statute miles.
