A Falcon 9 rocket is tentatively scheduled for launch tomorrow morning (December 16) from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. The vehicle is slated to lift off from south base during a 7:24 to 11:24 a.m. PST launch window and carry several Starlink satellites into orbit. Several minutes after launch the first stage will attempt to land on a drone ship positioned down range.

Weather permitting, the launch could be visible to the unaided eye from as far away as 100 statute miles.
