Official sources in the public domain show that this morning's planned launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. has been delayed.

The rocket is now scheduled to lift off from south base at approximately 12:37 a.m. PDT Saturday morning (August 24). Following launch, the Falcon 9 will probably head southward as it carries several Starlink satellites into orbit.

Weather permitting, this event should be visible to the unaided eye over a wide area.
