A Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled for launch from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. on Sunday evening (August 11). The vehicle is slated to leave south base at 7:02 p.m. PDT and carry the Arctic Satellite Broadband Mission (ASBM) into orbit.

Liftoff is scheduled to occur well before sunset. This will limit launch visibility to about 100 statute miles from the launch site and the rocket's ground track.
