A Falcon 9 rocket appears to be scheduled for launch from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. on the night of September 11-12. The vehicle is scheduled to lift off from south base between 11:47 p.m. and 4:07 a.m. PDT and carry several Starlink satellites into orbit.

Weather permitting, the event could be visible to the unaided eye for hundreds of miles for several minutes. The rocket's exhaust plume may be visible late in the first stage burn and during all of the second stage burn.
