SUNDAY MORNING LAUNCH

The following is an update from SpaceX:

"SpaceX is targeting Sunday, October 29 at 2 a.m. PT for a Falcon 9 launch of 22 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. If needed, two backup opportunities are available starting at 2:50 a.m. PT until 3:08 a.m. PT. Six backup opportunities are also currently available on Sunday, October 29 starting at 11:06 p.m. PT until 2:45 a.m. PT on Monday, October 30."

NEW MEXICO LAUNCH

A rocket is scheduled for launch Sunday evening (October 29) at 8:35 p.m. PDT (9:35 p.m. MDT) from White Sands, Mexico. The vehicle will make a brief trip into space as part of an astronomy mission. The event will probably not be visible very far from the launch site. For details, go to:
