A Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled for launch Monday (June 12) from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. The rocket is slated to lift off from south base at 2:19 p.m. Pacific Time, the start of a 57-minute launch window, and carry several small satellites into orbit.

Weather permitting, the event could be visible to the unaided eye for up to 100 miles.
