MARS DISAPPEARING ACT

On the evening of December 7, the full Moon will pass in front of Mars. Weather permitting, this planetary disappearing act should be visible to the naked eye over much of North America. As seen from Los Angeles, Mars will disappear at 6:30 p.m. and reappear at 7:30 p.m. PST.
