                         LAUNCH ON SCHEDULE

Tomorrow morning's launch of a Peacekeeper strategic missile from
Vandenberg AFB appears to be on schedule. Lift-off will probably occur
at, or sometime after, 01:01 PDT, the start of the six hour launch
window.

The L-1 weather forecast calls for fog and low clouds at Vandenberg
at launch time. However, the probability of the launch being cancelled
due to weather is very low (acceptable launch weather and acceptable
launch viewing weather are two different things).

The Peacekeeper has a bright flame and the launch should be visible
across California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah.
