Tomorrow morning's Peacekeeper missile launch from Vandenberg AFB appears to be on schedule. The Air Force will probably try to launch the vehicle when the launch window opens at 01:01 PDT. However, lift-off can occur at any time during the six hour window which closes at 07:01 PDT.

If you're trying to view the launch and 01:01 passes and you don't see anything, wait until at least 01:50 PDT before you call it a night.

The official L-1 launch weather forecast calls for fog and a solid cloud deck from 500 to 1,300 feet over the launch site. The probability of the weather exceeding acceptable limits is 0%.
