hi Bob,
I don't normally think of the PGP receiver having enough bandwidth 
for anything to be seen (or heard) on a low frequency receiver as an 
IF, but it does have some at a low level apparently :) I imagine there
would be even more to see with a wider bandwidth receiver like KA70EI 
or the others. Much greater signals levels anyway. It would be 
interesting and helpful to be able to see the whole output bandwidth 
all at once like on that when working on projects. Spectrum analysers 
are pretty pricey usually. I've seen some home-made types online but 
they were using old TV tuners and were for VHF and UHF use and not 
for lower frequencies or audio.
