Well, i had thought there was something up and sure
enough... stuff happens :D 
If that wasn't internal noise from the detector/recorder
combination then i guess it's all coming from that pole pig
or the transmission wires. Strange signals for sure.. parts
of it almost look like very slow narrowband PSK modulation
with lots of 50 and 100hz harmonics... I assume you're in a
60hz area, so that makes it even more mysterious :)
