Robert - Congratulations!  Keep up the good work and keep making 
improvements. The beam expander is good but of course makes pointing 
that much more difficult.  Do what you can first to improve the 
receiver sensitivity. The basic K3PGP design is extremely sensitive 
if done right.  You should be able to hear the noise (hiss)  from the 
detector decrease when you cover up the receiver.
