Heat, above all, exacerbates the ageing process with LED's in all
categories.  Remove heat=prolong life.

These will be on two to four hours at a time and on rare occasion up to nine
hours but only once a year if that.  I hope to get a few years use out of
them.  They will most likely be dimmed down quite a bit, perhaps to less
than 10mA if things are proportional...
