[Laser] Standard LED question.

"With a few exceptions, they die by aging, which means the light output of
the LED declines. So, running the diode very hard for a few minutes will
only cause the output to decline."

These will be on two to four hours at a time and on rare occasion up to nine
hours but only once a year if that.  I hope to get a few years use out of
them.  They will most likely be dimmed down quite a bit, perhaps to less
than 10mA if things are proportional...
