[Laser] Stepper motor control of laser communication unit

Hi Kerry,

Exactly what I have been trying to get off the ground. Manual 
positioning has not been very successful, unless you have infinite 
patience.

I wasn't aware there is a stepper replacement for micrometer drives.

I have been saving parts and pieces toward that goal, but this sounds 
like a better approach.

I have had good experiences with PC express board service. If there is 
  some interest I can do a board layout. I don't have any other CAD 
resources.

If you get a document together I would like to receive a copy.
