Just a thought on the cost.

If you're good at telling the odd story...........Go to the sample request 
page of the Texas Instruments site.   2 for free is a very good deal.

Also, someone, possibly on the list, wrote to me saying that these were 
available from one supplier in the USA  at 10  for about $50.   If only I could 
remember who that was?

keep looking, they are out there at a lot less than $45
