[Laser] XE on laser

Dears friends, after severals problems finally was made the first QSO on 
laser between 2 stations in Mexico..
The 19th Jan 2004 at 0355 XE2AT and XE2ZB made the QSO on voice using the 
Ramsey Laser kit at 300 meters and then at 0455 at 1000 meters on voice and 
CW..
well after that I have dude about if there are difference in distance we can 
get between 5mw and 1 mw pointers...
The Rx system is a 4 inches lens and led diode..
Best test will be at 10 miles..is posiible with this TX and Rx system ?
