It has to be a data and communication-link

coud use FM-coded channels for the audio, and use ethernet (coax) for data.
(10MB network is oke).

I could use the lowband for  (spitted in a sub-transmit, and en sub-receive
band) and additional audio- speech channels in the higher band.

I'm looking for the ethernet spec's if it is possible to modulate the laser
(via a little interface and good filters)

security is a issue, that's why I don't use the LPD 430 Mhz band.

I would think so.  I saw some WiFi cards for sale at a hamfest a couple
weeks ago for $10 each.  I almost bought a couple to fool around with.

If security is a problem I'd say a digitally-modulated laser would be the
way to go.  The whole neighborhood certainly isn't going to be able to
monitor it.
