Actually, while the PD-4 unit mentioned by Cliff below is also available,
and is the same diode but with a (removable) green filter to correct the
response curve to CIE standards, the unit I mentioned in my previous post is
cat # PD-3, and costs $1 less than the former. It's not listed in the
catalog but if you go to the online order form and type in "PD-3" it will
show up (I found out about it because it's in the New items section and in
flyers which they sent me.) Of course, the filtered unit does have the added
advantage of a filter mount, into which narrowband dielectric filters of 25
mm diam. should fit nicely after removing the green CIE filter.

Jim, the detector is on page 82 of the fall catalog order #PD-4,  $6
The green filter in the window of the detector is removable and seems
about the same size as 635 nM filters we got from Haltex some years back.
I do hope as this should make quite a unit!
