Bah - USConstitution allows Congress to pass laws necesary to regulate
interstate commerce... that means anything that is "likely" to pass across
state borders (even if yours never actually do), including lasers and their
components. Your chances of winning your defense against a federal charge is
about as good as those who fight the IRS because they contend fed. income
tax was never properly passed. (NO one has won in almost a century!).
