[KYHAM] Earthquake???

Good thoughts on two important points.

First, I get 100+ email a day. The most important tool I have is the
delete key!

The second point is actually in the rules of KYHAM. "Let the
moderator moderate." Those who have been here for a while also know
that I take care of problems privately, and not over the list. I
have exchanged more than one private emails today about things. I
balance this with no moderator intervention was necessary
today. Everyone, including myself expressed their opinion, and
nobody was out of line. We have a good group on KYHAM, and it is my
intention to operate KYHAM as a community. Sometimes things between
neighbors don't take place at the "town meeting." Never hesitate to
take something "off list" if you deem it necessary.

I don't want to burden the list with protocol, because freedom allows
the most information of interest to hams in KY to be shared. THAT is
the purpose of the list. Stay on the topic of amateur radio
involvement in KY, and I am happy. Freedom is not free, and the
price is responsibility. Those who can differ in opinion and do it
respectfully are honoring that premise. 99.9% of the subscribers
do! The list has been up since 1993, and there is only one person
that I have such a difference of perspective with that I won't allow
back on the list.

Carry on folks! Let's keep sharing information important to amateur
radio in KY.
