[KYHAM] Rails to Trails Bike Relay - June 8, 2005

The Rails to Trails group (http://www.kyrailtrail.org/) had a bike
relay today to promote use of old train lines into multi-use foot path
and bike trails.  The relay started at 8am in Lexington and continued
until late in the afternoon in Carter County.  Hams from the Bluegrass
Amateur Radio Society, Poneer Amateur Radio Club, and Big Sandy
Amateur Radio Club provided communications and saftey reporting. 
Although there was light rain in the morning, the weather was nice and
the ride went off with out any incidents or accidents.  Upwards of 15
hams were involved across that state.
