KENTUCKY 3RD DISTRICT ARES SCHEDULE FOR SET

Hancock County EOC Amateur Radio Station KY4HC will be active on Saturday,
October 2 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon, Central Time on 7.228 MHz with WE4G as the
control station.

Daviess County EMA is hoping to have the Daviess County ARES Amateur Radio
Station in the Daviess County Courthouse EMA office operational by Saturday.
Antennas and coax are being installed this week and if everything comes
together in time, this station will be QRV from 9:00 a.m. to Noon, Central
Time on 40 meters @ 7.228 MHz and 2 meters @ 147.210 MHz.  From 3:00 p.m. to
4:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon this station will be operating on 75 meters @
3.993.5 MHz from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Also, Daviess County ARES is hoping to test it's new WinLink 2000 VHF TelPac
node @ 145.010 MHz FM during the aforementioned hours.  All winlink-ready
stations in the 3rd District are encouraged to test their setup by e-mailing
me at w4rcx-4 at winlink.org either via a standard Internet connection or
directly through the digipeater.  This digipeater is located in downtown
Owensboro at Brescia University thanks to K4SAC Jack Wilson.
