Bill Hertweck, KG4LFP was featured in a news segment on Lexington's WTVQ
Channel 36 about the role of amateur radio operators in severe weather
spotting. There was one misquote by the reporter that there are over a 100
amateur radio operators in Fayette County, and technically he was right,
but he was told there are 800 and about 100 interested in emergency
service. <grin>

Hat's off to Bill for going before the camera. He did an excellent job!

A PDF of the transcript is located on the Fayette County ARES Site at
http://fcares.kyham.net/news/kg4lfp%20spotter.pdf. We are trying to obtain
web quality video of the story to place on the site.

73, Take care!
