To all!
The Kentucky Amateur Radio Web Site is moving to a new home. The new
address for the site will be www.kyham.net.
At the request of KY ARES Coordinators, for emergency use in the event
that www.kyham.net is offline, the entire web site is mirrored at
http://www.qsl.net/kyham/. Automatic updates to the mirror site will
occur hourly if any changes have been made.
The KYHAM Site has been on Al Waller's QSL.NET for many years, and it
will remain there as a mirror, as will the KYHAM Listserv. This is not
a move away from the QSL.NET system, but a move to open up new
capabilities for the site. QSL.NET has, and will continue to serve KY
amateur radio operators. It hosts dozens of club sites, individual ham
sites, and listservs that serve our state. Please do not consider the
movement of the primary web site address as reason to slack off, or
discontinue donations to QSL.NET. Donation information can be found at
www.qsl.net.
One addition to the site is the entirety of the Kentucky Amateur Radio
Emergency Service Training course has been moved to the site now. This
is our way of helping reduce the load on Pat Lambert, W0IPL who is
hosting, and maintaining the CGI portion of the testing on his home
site. Many thanks to Pat for allowing KY amateurs to use his
copyrighted material.
From the main page of the site, please take a moment to visit the
"History, and public thank you's! " page as it recognizes persons who
have made a difference over the years to keep the site going, and
growing into a resource.

Take care, 73,
Pat, KD4PWL
